Maddalena, Parmesan's niece, is found in a confused state outside a nightclub by Luca and Valeria, who are on patrol. She is rushed to the hospital, and it turns out that she is under the effects of a powerful drug and in danger of death. The entire District mobilizes to find those responsible for the incident, investigating the nightclub and the faculty attended by Maddalena. Meanwhile, Roberto, at Scalise's request, is dealing with a delicate case involving Irene, his colleague who is an expert in telecommunications and is being threatened and intimidated by her alcoholic ex-husband. Faithful to his instructions to observe maximum discretion, Roberto arouses the suspicions and jealousy of Angela, who thinks that her husband has a lover. After Scalise's return, the atmosphere at the District is very tense, everyone wants to find the culprit of the attack, especially Manrico, who cannot forgive himself for not being at Giovanna's side at that moment.
