Marciano and Coppola, back together with the patrol cars, come across a Sinhalese man who is running away with his wife and son, completely covered by a sheet, from the building where he lives. When asked about the suspicious escape, the man replies that he wants to protect his child from the harsh spectacle of the drug addicts who gather every day in the courtyard. Once inside the building, the two officers find a crack house. Could it be the work of Malinconico? The investigation into the crack house soon passes to Vitale and his team of hawks. The inspector finds himself having to manage the disturbances in the neighborhood: the exasperated residents of Spaccanapoli take out their anger on the Sinhalese who live in the building, guilty of having attracted the police. During the riot, Sciacca notices a man whose face reminds him of something. Gabriele Coppola, under pressure, wants to leave his job as an infiltrator in the Malinconico clan, but he can't.
